Original recipe simply says:
Bake at 400º for 20 minutes, then 375º for 2 minutes.

Harvey/Sharon's adjustments:
Pour into 4 1-c. Pyrex custard cups. Place in 9 x 13 pan and add boiling water to 1/2 height of custard cups.

Bake at 400º for 20 minutes then lower to 375º for 2 minutes.
In Acorn oven, bake egg custard 45oº for 22 minutes or 23

Using the original recipe, the baked custard had wonderful taste and set up nicely but had a sugary water separation.
