1 pkg. lean ground pork
1 small cabbage, boiled to soften

Directions:
Mix beef and pork. Add rice, onion, garlic, eggs and water.
Put about 1" of water in a large pot and add some sauerkraut in the bottom.
Core the cabbage and parboil so the leaves will come off. Begin to roll, but first either cut off the hard stems or cut them down, leaving them on.
Make the cabbage rolls by filling and rolling the leaves with the meat mixture.
Add to pot, 1 layer of cabbage rolls and 1 layer of sauerkraut. Repeat layers.
Add water to almost cover. Cook at first on stove at medium to get a boil going. Then reduce to medium low. Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
