2 lbs. boneless chuck roast
8 c water
4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried marjoram (crushed)
1/2 tsp dried oregano (crushed)
5 whole black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
10 oz. pkg frozen whole kernel corn
2 med potatoes (peeled and cubed) 2 cups
9 oz. pkg frozen cut green beans
2 med carrots, sliced (1 cup)
2 ribs celery, sliced (1 cup)
1 med onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

Directions:
Directions:
In large kettle combine beef, water, salt, oregano, marjoram, peppercorns, and bay leaves. Bring mixture to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 2 hrs. Remove the beef. Cut and shred. Strain broth; skim off excess fat. Return broth to kettle. Add the meat, corn, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, celery, and onion. Simmer, covered for 1 hr
