1 lb. Butter (no substitutes)
1 1/3 c. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract (no substitute)
5 c. All Purpose Flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar till light, then add vanilla extract and lastly work in flour till you have a very firm dough.

Roll in balls and mash very thin on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle tops with sugar and bake at 400º for approximately 12 minutes or till lightly browned around edges.
