24 hours in advance:

2 packages Good Seasons Italian Dressing

2 cups buttermilk

2 cups mayonnaise

Stir together and refrigerate.

24 hours in advance:

1 pound vermicelli pasta

1/2 cup chopped green peppers

2 cups chopped celery

10-12 scallions chopped

3 hard cooked eggs coarsely chopped

Directions:

Break pasta into fourths and cook al dente.

Mix pasta and dressing with the vegetables and eggs and refrigerate.

Just before serving:

1 pound cooked shrimp

1 pound crab meat or imitation crab meat

Mix shrimp and crab into salad.
