8 slices of bread (I used cinnamon swirl or cinnamon raisin)
1 pkg. cream cheese
1 dozen eggs, whipped
2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
(Optional: 1 tsp. cinnamon;
1/2 tsp. vanilla;
3/4 cup sugar)

Directions:
Directions:
Spread 4 slices of bread with cream cheese and put in 9x13 inch casserole dish. Top with other 4 slices of bread.
Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve hot with syrup.
Serve with bacon or sausage for a nice breakfast.
