Food Release spray as needed
Long Grain and Wild rice blend 1 box
Water 2 quarts
Butter 2 oz
Diced 1/4" Onions 1#
¼” Sliced Red Bell Peppers 1#
¼” Sliced Green Bell Peppers 1#

Directions:
Directions:
•Bring water and butter to a boil.
•Spray a 4” deep full size pan with
food release spray. Add the rice mix,
seasoning packet, onions, red and
green peppers to the pan.
•Pour boiling water mixture over the
rice. Stir well.
•Cover the pan tightly with foil.
•Place the pan of rice into the 350ºF
preheated oven.
•Bake for 30 minutes.
•Most of the water should be absorbed
into the rice. If water is present do not
drain; it will absorb over time.
•Keep covered. Let set at room
temperature for 5 minutes.
•Stir to distribute the vegetables and
spices evenly.
TO HOLD HOT
•Cover with foil and place in a warmed
metal insert, no more than 5# per pan,
for service on the line.
TO COOL
•Place on a sheet pan with liner for
