Crust
1 box yellow cake mix, remove 1cup, set aside
1 stick soft oleo
1 egg
Beat with mixer and spread into ungreased 9x13” pan. (It’s messy so I wet my hand when spreading it).
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

Filling
2 cups pumpkin 3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs 2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Pour mixture over crust

Topping
1 cup cake mix 1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons oleo
1/2 cup ground nuts, optional

Directions:

Sprinkle topping over filling and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Cool and cut in squares.

Oleo is another word for margarine. This is an alternate version of the recipe for Pumpkin Cake Squares.
