20 c. old fashioned oats
2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 T. vanilla
1 c. wheat germ (optional)
Desired amounts of:
raisins
almonds (slivered)
nuts
coconut
sunflower seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Measure oats and wheat germ -- set aside. Melt butter, peanut butter and brown sugar together. After it is cooked, add vanilla. Pour into oats and mix thoroughly. Pour onto pans and bake until golden brown. Mix in the raisins, nuts, almonds,and sunflower seeds if desired.

This recipe may seem huge, but it doesn't make as much as you may think. This granola keeps well and tastes good first thing in the morning.
