12 oz. loaf of French bread cut into thick slices
2 tsp. vanilla
8 large eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup cream

Caramel topping:
1/2 cup butter (soft)
3 Tblsp. dark Karo
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Heavily butter 9x13" pan. Layer bread to within 1/2" of top of pan. Set aside. In the blender, combine eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and spices. Pour over bread. Refrigerate over night. Make topping. Spread over bread and bake for 50 minutes.
