2 1/4 cup warm water
2 T. sugar
2T. yeast
1 T. salt
2 T. oil
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
If using instant yeast just add with flour...otherwise put water, sugar and yeast in small bowl and let stand 5 minutes.
Add salt and oil and 3 cups flour. Mix well Then add remaining flour just until blended.
Let stand 10 minutes. Knead 1/2 minute. Repeat 5 times.
Divide dough in half. Roll out each to 9X12 rectangle. PInch ends. Place seam down on prepared cookie sheet.
To prepare cookie sheet grease lightly and sprinkle with cornmeal.
Allow to rise 30 minutes only!!
Cut 3 gashes in each loaf. Brush with egg wash ( 1egg+1T. water). Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds. Bake 400ºF for 20-30 minutes
