1 cup Crisco shortening(no Margarine)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbs vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
6 oz. choco chips or m&m's

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Crisco, white and brown sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until there are no sugar crystals.

Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking powder. Add alternately with oatmeal, coconut, walnuts and chips or M&M's. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Doesn't brown much so don't over cook.
