1 large Black Mountain rattlesnake
1 c. flour
1 tsp. garlic salt
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Skin and clean, then strip meat off backbone (meat will strip easily). Cut in 4" chunks or smaller. Mix flour, garlic salt and pepper. Coat chunks with flour mixture. Deep fry until meat looks golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Eat while hot; this doesn't taste as good cold.

I have never tried this recipe nor do I intend to, at least willingly. But people say "it tastes just like chicken." I thought I would add it in case someone had a dead rattlesnake and didn't know what to do with it.
