1 (2 lb) pkg carrots, sliced thin
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
1/2 c chopped onions
4 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 T flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots until tender. Add flour, sugar and vinegar to bacon drippings. Cook until clear and thick. Pour over carrots and fold until all are glazed. Just before serving add peppers, onions, and bacon.

This is a recipe I first remember having at Grandma Sill's house. She really enjoyed trying new recipes. I usually add the onions to the bacon near the end of the cooking. The dish adds color to any meal!
