12 oz. fettucini
1 Tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp flour
2 cups skim milk
1/4 t. pepper
1 T. lemon juice
4 T. grated Parmesan cheese
4 T. parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet. Saute garlic. Stir in flour and cook for a few minutes. Add milk. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes. Add lemon juice. Cook pasta until tender. Divide pasta between 4 plates. top with sauce and Parmesan cheese.

2 cup sliced mushrooms may be added at time of garlic.
This is 420 calories per serving as opposed to 805 when made with cream and more butter and cheese.
