1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup flour
3 cups quick oats
Chocolate chips (however many you want in your cookies)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, brown sugar, shortening, eggs, salt, baking soda, and vanilla together. Then mix in flour, oats and chocolate chips.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
Recipe is great to DOUBLE.
