2 cups flour
1 package instant butterscotch pudding mix
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/3 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can pumpkin puree

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients.
Use a mixer for the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (the mixture will be noticeably lighter in color).
Add the eggs one at a time (room temp eggs).
Beat in the vanilla and pumpkin with last egg. Lightly stir in the dry mix - don't over stir.
Sprinkle in chocolate chips if you are using them.
Pour the batter into muffin tin.

Bake about 20 minutes.
