Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Joyce Micensky lived on the corner of 16th street in the yellow house. She was a very good neighborhood friend. Every year after Clyde died, she would take Helen with her to her cottage. They would have a few toddies together, and close it up for the winter--fortified! --ed.

Kris Ertl: "The lake where Micensky's had their cottage was Manistique Lake. Bob and Joyce were the first folks we visited every Christmas morning for a beverage and cookies. Bob was my high school principal. I babysat their kids Susie, Nick, and Lori. Joyce has a very loud and raucous laugh! "
