"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Combine oats, flour, pecans, sugar and salt, then stir in butter until blended. Press crust into the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 400º for 12-15 minutes or until browned lightly. Allow to cool. Meanwhile prepare the glaze by mashing into a saucepan enough blueberries to measure 1 cup. Add water, cornstarch and 3/4 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture thickens and boils. Cook and stir 1 minute longer, then set aside to cool. Now build the pie!
Beat the cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar until smooth, then spread over cooled pie shell, then spoon and spread thin layer Bavarian cream over cream cheese. Pour remaining blueberries over cream mixtures. Spoon glaze over blueberries and chill until set (2 hours)
