2tbsp. butter
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef,lean

2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
10 oz. can sliced mushrooms

10 oz. can cream of chicken or mushroom soup

1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in frying pan. Add onions and saute slowly until limp. Add beef stirring to break up lumps. Brown. Drain off fat.
Sprinkle flour ,salt and pepper over meat mixture. Stir. Add mushrooms. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
Add soup and cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and cheese. Heat through. Can be served immediately or poured into a casserole, covered and held in warm oven.
