1/3 cabbage
2 /3 green tomatoes
10 pints cabbage and tomatoes each
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2/3 teaspoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Put the ingredients together in grinder and chop fine. Put in granite kettle and cover with vinegar. Mix all together cook until well done, then jar up.

This recipe was Julia's Grandma Allaire's. Piccalilli is an English relish of chopped pickled vegetables and spices.
