Nancy Stein was also a very dear friend of Helen's. She owned the Fair Store.. They coffee'd every day, sometimes twice. She got Gram her glamorous job at the Fair Store, a strong memory for most of us. The Fair Store was open for thirty-some years, and Gram was the very last employee at the store. Nancy's son Steve was the elevator operator, and got us safely between floors with cheer.--ed.
