1 package (16 oz) elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 egg
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 lb (8 oz) Velveeta® prepared cheese product (cut into small cubes and divided)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
Paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook macaroni (al dente) as directed on package.

Meanwhile, cut butter into small pieces and place on bottom of 13" x 9" baking dish.

Beat egg and milk with wire whisk until well blended. Set aside. Drain macaroni.

Spoon half of the macaroni over the butter in the baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup each of the Velveeta® and cheddar cheeses. Pour half of the egg mixture over the macaroni and cheeses. Repeat layers of macaroni, Velveeta®, cheddar cheese, and egg mixture. Sprinkle top lightly with paprika.

Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir until well blended. Bake an additional 15 minutes, or until macaroni mixture is heated through and the top is golden brown.
