3 qts. water
1 cup salt
1 qt. vinegar
1 head of dill per jar
Alum

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers. Pack into jars with 1 head dill per jar. Put a pinch of alum in. Mix water, salt & vinegar and bring to a good boil. Poor over cucumbers and seal. Put jars into cold water and bring to boil, turn off immediately and let sit until cold.
