2 cups sugar
1 cups water
4 Tbsp cornstarch
3 quarts sliced apples
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Combine the sugar, water, and cornstarch in a saucepan. cook and stir until smooth. Add the apples and cinnamon and cook until tender. Pack in sterilized jars and process at 5 pounds pressure in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes or a water bath for 20 minutes. Use later for apple pies or crisps.
