1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cloves
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the first 5 ingredients; sift together the rest, except nuts. Add to creamed mixture; mix well and add nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls and bake at 350º oven for about 8 minutes
