1 to 2 cans of chicken (or if you prefer to use fresh - 1 whole chicken shredded)
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
2 pkgs. Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 bunch green onions (optional)
Pecan pieces
Season to taste (I use garlic & onion powder. You can add whatever spices you like.)
Bread crumbs
Chicken gravy or can of chicken soup

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in a large bowl with cream cheese and butter. (You may also add mushrooms to taste.) Add seasoning to taste, pecans and onion if you are using them. Place approximately 1 Tbsp. (or more if it will fit) of filling on each crescent. Roll it up, pinch sides together and dip in butter. Roll in bread crumbs and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 350º. Warm and pour chicken gravy or chicken soup over the rolls before serving.
