1/2 lb. butter (must be butter)
1 1/2 c. of sugar
7 eggs
2 1/2 c. of flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 1/2 lb. candid cherries
1 1/2 lb. candid pineapples
1 lb. pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, and pineapple juice. Add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Mix 1/2 c. flour with candid fruit so they will not stick together. Add pecans. Bake in 2 loaf pans at 250 degrees for 2 hours.

This was Duane's favorite cake for Christmas. I don't bake it anymore! Hobie's favorite is Rum Cake and that's what I bake now!
