1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground chuck ( 80 - 20 % fat ratio)
1T butter
1/4 C Lea & Perrins Worcesteshire sauce
black pepper
sliced American or Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add worcesteshire sauce. Form beef into patties of desired size. Season burgers with pepper. Cook burgers on LOW heat until burgers are cooked on first side (about 8 - 10 mins). Flip burgers and continue to cook until done (about 5-7 minutes). Before removing from pan, place cheese on top of burgers and let cheese melt slightly.

This recipe was featured on the Kraft Theater years ago and we have been cooking the burgers since. My family loves them. We eat them on buns with mayo only.
