1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c shortening
1/2 c peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
48 chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine all ingredients, except candy. Mix until soft dough forms. Using rounded teaspoon, shape dough into round balls. Roll in sugar, place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press kiss, firmly into center of each cookie. Cookie should crack around edge.
