1/3 C margarine
1 egg
1 pkg. Jiffy yellow cake mix
6 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate pieces
1/3 C light brown sugar
1/2 C chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream margarine, add brown sugar, egg and vanilla, using an electric mixer. Blend in cake mix by hand and add chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop dough by teaspoon onto a ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 - 12 minutes. For soft chewy cookies, bake 8 - 9 minutes( cookie will like raw dough when taken out). May substitute almond extract and almonds to make almond cookies. Add 1/4 C Hershey's cocoa for chocolate - chocolate chip cookies.
