1 lb. ground beef
2 T. butter
1 box Beef Rice-a-Roni
1 can mushrooms, drained OR sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 beaten eggs
2 frozen pie shells
4 slices bacon, uncooked
2 1/2 cups hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Brown rice mixture in 2 tablespoons of butter; add ground beef and brown. Stir in hot water, mushrooms, pepper and seasoning packet. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Cool slightly; stir in eggs. Fill pie shells and garnish with bacon. Bake on a cookie sheet at 400º for 20-25 minutes. Mmmmm...meat pie!
