1 bag dry split peas
2-3 potatoes
1 onion
salt & pepper
ham bone or 1 T. bacon grease
thin noodles or ribbles

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot or kettle add 1 bag of dry split peas and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Add diced potatoes and finely chopped onion. Salt & pepper to taste. Next add ham bone or bacon grease and cook until tender, Sometimes, I add noodles or ribbles when soup is almost done.
