9 lb. beef, turtle, and chicken
2 gal. broth from above meats
2-1/2 gal. tomato juice
48 oz. ketchup
4 lb. carrots
4 lb. potatoes
1-1/2 lb. onions
1 head cabbage
1 stalk celery
3 cans peas
6 bags frozen corn
6 cans green beans
2 cans tomatoes
thin noodles
pickling spices and bay leaves in a cloth
chili powder
salt & pepper
wine

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and cook slowly for 4-6 hours. Stir often to prevent sticking. Add chili powder, salt & pepper, and wine (optional) to taste.
Taste soup and (wine) often. Add noodles at the end.

This soup is also good without the turtle! Vegetables can be frozen or canned. Potatoes and carrots are diced small. Onions and celery are diced even smaller. Meat can be diced or ground.
