Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 egg at room temperature plus enough warm (80 degrees) water to equal 1 cup + 5 Tablespoons
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
4 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast.

Directions:
Directions:
Place flour and salt in a standing mixer equipped with a dough hook, or a bread machine . Separately, combine beaten egg, water, sugar, yeast and oil. Add liquid to flour mixture. Mix for 4 minutes, or follow bread machine directions for bread dough. If using a mixer, cover dough and allow to rise until doubled in size. Place dough on a lightly floured surface. Divide into pieces slightly larger than a golf ball and shape into balls. Place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes or until browned. As a variation, place three dough balls into greased muffin cups to make cloverleaf rolls.
