4 large portobello mushroom caps
1/3 c. balsamic vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 T. sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 T. olive oil
4 whole wheat buns
4 slices tomato
4 slices red onion
Bibb or romaine lettuce

Directions:
Directions:
Clean mushrooms and place in glass dish, stem side up
Whisk next six (6) ingredients together and drizzle or mushrooms
Cover and and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning mushrooms once
Grill or broil mushrooms on medium heat, until tender, about 5 minutes on each side (basting if needed)
Serve mushrooms on buns with toppings of your choice
