2 cups cooked rice
2 cups milk
1 small can evap milk (5 1/2 oz.)
1/2 cup raisins
1 tbs cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup plus 2 tbs sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp nutmeg or more
1/8 tsp cinnamon or more,
1 tsp vanilla

In a small pan, scald the milks together.. Plump the raisins by placing in a small amount of boiling water, and drain. Combine cornstarch, salt and sugar, blend well. Stir in hot milk mixture stirring constantly until thick and smooth, add rice. Reheat to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour a little into beaten eggs while stirring. Return to pan and stir until thickened. Stir in raisins, spices and vanilla Add more sugar if not sweet enough. Chill .
