8-10 medium onions
1 medium cabbage head
8-10 green tomatoes
10-12 green sweet peppers
5-6 red sweet peppers
1/2 c. salt
1/2 gallon vinegar
10 c. sugar
1 c flour/cornstarch
1 T. mustard powder
2 1/2 T. turmeric
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 c. chopped sweet cucumber pickles

Directions:
Directions:
Grind or chop vegetables and place in a large container. Sprinkle with salt and let set overnight. The next day, squeeze the liquid from the vegetables. Combine the vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil. Add the drained, chopped vegetables, (approximately 8 cups). Bring back to a boil. Make a paste of flour/cornstarch with mustard powder and turmeric. Add pickles to mix. Add paste to mixture and stir until fully mixed. Add mustard seed and celery seed and return to a boil. . Place in clean, hot jars; and seal with hot seals and rings. Will yield 15-16 pints.
