1/2 lb. butter
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup cherries, maraschino or glazed
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. almond flavouring
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, almond flavouring and salt, then add the flour and baking powder. Mix well then add cherries. Bake at 350ºF for an hour and a half in loaf pan lined with waxed paper.
