Double pie crust
6-8 northern spy or granny smith apples,peeled cored and sliced.
cup 1 1/l2 cup sugar
3 level T cornstarch
vanilla, cinnamon and butter

Directions:
Directions:
place apples into a bowl, combine the following with the apples...cornstarch,sugar...sprinkle vanilla over mixture.sprinkle cinnamon generously and dot with butter...4 or 5 chunks...place bottom crust in pie plate heap apple mixture in and top with top crust...put milk on top crust with fingers and sprinkle with sugar...bake
