Ingredients:
2 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
½ cup (1 stick) margarine
½ cup shortening
1 cup water
¼ cup cocoa
½ cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Peanut Butter Icing:
Powdered white sugar
Peanut Butter
Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and sugar and blend well. Bring margarine,
shortening, water, and cocoa to a boil. Pour boiled mixture
over flour mixture and mix well. Combine other
ingredients and add to mixed batter. Pour all mixture into a
greased and floured pan and bake at 400° for 35 to 40
minutes. If using a sheet pan, bake at 400° F for 20
minutes.

For icing:
Pour some powdered sugar into a bowl and add some milk,
slowly, to mix into a smooth, but slightly thick, mixture.
Slowly add peanut butter to the sugar mixture to form a
smooth peanut-butter icing. Depending on the size of the
cake, you may add milk, sugar, and peanut butter,
alternately, to form the icing to the thickness which you
need to ice the chocolate cake.
