Ingredients: 5 lbs hamburger meat 5-6 pkgs taco seasoning lettuce tomatoes onions, if desired 1 large can Ranch Style beans, undrained 1 large family-size bag of Doritos, Nacho cheese flavored Shredded cheddar Catalina salad dressing

Directions:Brown hamburger meat and drain off fat. Add taco seasoning and make according to the package directions (you can add more or less seasoning according to personal taste, but adjust water if you do.) While meat is cooking, shred lettuce and dice tomatoes and set aside. Chop onions if desired. In large bowl, break 1/4 to 1/2 bag of chips. Once meat is cooked, add beans if desired, undrained, and mix with meat. Place meat mixture on top of broken chips, then add lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and 1/2 -3/4 bottle Catalina dressing. Toss gently to coat. Top with shredded cheddar. Serve with chips. |

Notes: I make this recipe to feed a family of 8 with some leftovers usually. You can always cut back on the meat amount, just make sure to adjust the seasoning and water accordingly. I sometimes omit the beans or serve them on the side. Additionally, you can substitute plain or different flavored tortilla chips, but I have found that the flavored ones add a little extra flavor. You can also add your own touches, such as salsa, sour cream, sliced olives, etc. for added flair.
