1/4 can of Chili
3/4 - 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mexican Blend)
Shredded Lettuce (Optional)
Diced Onions (Optional)
Sliced Peppers (Optional)
Sour Cream (Optional)

Directions:
Directions:
First, warm the chili on the stove till it starts to bubble. While it is warming lay out a single layer of tortilla chips on a plate. Sprinkle half the cheese onto the chips than spoon half the chili on top of the chips. Next add another layer of chips and the remaining cheese and chili. Then microwave the plate for 45 seconds or until the cheese melts. Top with the optional ingredients and serve with salsa.

I created this recipe one day when we had some leftover chili and other hotdogs fixings but had consumed all of the hotdogs. The trick is not to try and warm the chili up in the microwave with the chips and cheese, heat it separately on the stove.
