2 lb. Granny Smith Apples
2 lb. Braebern apples
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 pkg. refrigerator pie crusts
1 egg white
2 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Peel apples, cut into 1/2 inch wedges. Toss apples with cinnamon sugar.
Melt butter in a 10 inch cast iron skillet over medium heat; add brown sugar, and cook, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and place 1 pie crust in skillet over brown sugar mixture. Spoon apples over crust and top with remaining crust. Brush top of pie crust with egg white, sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. sugar. Cut 4 or 5 slits in top.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour to 1 hr. 10 min. or until golden brown and bubbly.
