1 pkg. Oreida hash brown potatoes (2 lb. frozen)
1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
1 tsp. salt and pepper
2 T. dried minced onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
2 c. grated American cheese

1/4 c. margarine
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw potatoes before mixing. Mix first 8 ingredients and put in buttered 9 x 13 dish. (I melt the butter in the dish)
Mix 1/4 c. margarine and 2 c. crushed corn flakes. Spread on top of mixture. Bake 45 minutes-one hour at 350º until corn flakes brown and casserole is bubbling.
