1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
4 c. apples, peeled and diced
1 t. cinnamon.
1/4 t. nutmeg, allspice
1 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs.

Stir in apples and nuts. Sift flour and spices, add to apple mixture. Mix until flour is moistened.

Spread into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hr. and serve warm with whipped cream or cool and top with a cream cheese frosting.
