1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups M & M candies
2 cups floured mixed with 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder

Layer ingredients in order given in 1 quart canning jar. Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredients.

Attach this to the jar:
Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix. Add 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, soft; 1 egg, slightly beaten, 1 tsp vanilla. Mix until blended. Shape into balls(size of walnuts) Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degree oven for 12-14 minutes.
