1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. Oleo
2 C. Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 C. Sour Milk ( I take 1 C. milk less 2 T. and add
2T vinegar or lemon juice to make the sour milk)
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
3 1/2 C. Flour (sifted)
2 C. Candied Fruit
1 1/2 C. Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix up the sour milk.
Mix oleo, sugar and eggs. Stir in sour milk.
Add flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir in nuts and Candied Fruit.
Drop by teaspoon full (a size you like) onto cookie sheet.
Bake 350º for 8 to 10 minutes.
