1/4 C plus 1 T- Crisco shortening
1/3 - 1/2 C milk
1/2 C Hershey's Cocoa
4 C powdered sugar (sifted)
1 1/2 t vanilla
1 1/2 t McCormick butter flavoring

Directions:
In a small saucepan, melt shortening. Place 3 1/2 cups of powdered sugar in mixing bowl. Add cocoa to melted shortening, cool slightly and add 1/3 cup of milk and stir until well blended. (Mixture may be thick, but it can be added to the sugar at this point). Start mixing icing. Start adding additional 1/2 cup of sugar and alternate with remaining milk. Depending on the weather, more milk may be added for desired consistency. Add flavorings and beat on high speed of mixer until smooth.
