1 1/2 C Corn Meal
1/2 C all purpose flour
2 t baking powder
3/4 C milk
1/2 C chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
1/2 t salt
(Bell pepper or jalepeno can be added)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Mix wet ingredients together and add to dry ingredients mixing well. Batter will be slightly lumpy. Fry in hot vegetable oil.
